CreativeMornings: CreativeGuild Product Manager

Full-time

(Brooklyn, NY)

What if, there was a place on the Internet that:

- Optimized for opportunities instead of advertisements

- Was more interested in how you show up as a human, than how your data shows up in an algorithm

- Believed online experiences should feel more like face-to-face interactions

For nearly a decade CreativeMornings, the world’s largest face-to-face creative community,  has been bringing together people who are driven by passion and purpose, who support one another, and are collectively raising the bar on what it means to be creative. Now, with the CreativeGuild, we’re giving that community a place to connect online. We believe this version of the Internet can exist. And we want to find a Product Manager that can help us make it happen.

What is the CreativeGuild?

The CreativeGuild is a recently launched membership-based global directory of creative companies, professionals, and jobs. It is a labor of love by CreativeMornings.

Right now, the CreativeGuild is a rolodex of creative companies, but we have an ambitious product road map ahead of us to build the LinkedIn of the creative world.

We are looking for an experienced product manager with a big heart, a passion for the creative community and skills to drive growth in our bootstrapped startup. This role will be part of the product team responsible for launching initiatives to increase membership, keep existing customers subscribing, sharing your vision for new growth opportunities, and spreading best practices throughout the company. It is a full-time position based in our Brooklyn office.

The ideal candidate will be comfortable with technology, data, be results-oriented, and can help the team through periods of ambiguity. Prior experience in computer science, prioritizing product roadmaps, optimizing features towards user and business goals, running A/B tests, analyzing data, and working closely with engineering and design is a must. Familiarity with membership-based growth and search engineering, including the systems that power them, is a strong plus.

You’ll be working directly with our founder, Tina Roth Eisenberg, and the data science, user research, design, content, communications, and engineering team members. Some of our team members are remote, others are based in Brooklyn. All of them love to gather frequently for check-ins and ‘stand-ups’ to stay on top of the project. • We’re foodies - we love good food, and we’re always looking for the next place to dine out or recipe to try in the office
